East Grand Island Cemetery

Following the call of a concerned citizen about the care of a cemetery on the eastern edge of Hall County, the society petitioned the Hall County Board to take over the maintenance and care of the abandoned pioneer cemetery. The society requested permission to map unmarked graves, expected about 40, and discovered over 700 unmarked graves in the cemetery.
